Thanks to being featured in the magazine Journal du The, information about Ukiha spread to a discerning customer base through galleries, tea specialty shops, ethical fashion stores, and the like-minded independent business joints around the world. As a result, creators and culturally interested individuals have been visiting Ukiha one after another.
ジャーナル・ドゥ・テ誌で紹介されたことにより、うきはの情報が世界中のギャラリーや茶専門店、エシカルファッションの店など、テイストを同じくするインディ系ビジネス拠点を通じて、感度の高い顧客層に広まりました。その結果、クリエイターや文化に興味を持つ人々が次々とこの地を訪れるようになりました。
The crew from the in-demand Michelin star restaurant in Berlin Ernst also visited. We had a full-course tour around the culinary culture of Ukiha, tracing the terroir, concluding with a special dinner at our friend’s house.
一年先まで予約が取れないというドイツの超人気レストラン Ernst から、シェフ達の一行も訪ねてきてくれました。私たちは地元の友人にお願いして、彼らのために特別なディナーを準備しました。

Then, the owners of an artistic tea boutique in Paris, Artefact, contacted Kusumoridou tea farm, which was introduced in JDT during the pandemic period. We helped the communication and purchase, for over a year, and then in February 2024, they finally made a visit to us.
そして今年の2月には二組の特別なお客さま達が。一組目はパリのお茶専門店 Artefact のクルーです。代表のケイリーさんは JDT で楠森堂の在来茶を知った2022年以来、メールなどで私たちと連絡を取り合い、Omnicentが発送などを手伝いました。今回、パンデミックが明けて念願の訪日が叶いました。
Artefact’s crew instantly resonated with the landscape, places and people in the area of Ukiha. We found great friends in each other, through having such a wonderful time together sharing appreciation for the same kind of things in life.
Artefact の皆さんに楠森堂の河北さんが提供したのは「雫茶 (しずくちゃ)」と言う飲み方。専用の器を考案し作陶された星野村の陶工山本源太さんのもとをその日の午後に訪ねました。ケイリーさん達は帰国後、素晴らしい感想と写真を送ってくださいました。私たち Omnicent はじめ河北さん、源太さんにとっても、感性で響き合える人々との交流の喜びに満ちた1日となりました。
Shortly after, another group of special guests came from NY. Tim is a highly experienced tea connoisseur, visiting prestigious tea workshops and centuries old plantations in eastern Asia, searching for treasures veiled in the tradition of tea cultures.
そのすぐ後にNYから来られたのは、お茶の目利きでコレクター、お茶文化の探求の徒であるティムさんご一行です。楠森堂の茶園を一眼見て、樹齢100年を超える古木の集まる日本のテロワールに出会えたことに深く感激していらっしゃいました。
We eagerly anticipate the friendships built here to blossom into wonderful collaborations in the future!
ティムさんも河北さんにお茶のことや在来茶の復興に苦労してきたここ20年のお話を聞いて、強い感銘を受けたようでした。必ず何らかのコラボレーションをしてブランディングを助けたい！と心強い言葉を残していかれました。
お茶を通してつながる世界の人々は、文化的関心が高く知的好奇心が並外れた方ばかりです。うきはに生き生きと残る日本文化を通した深い交流は、Omnicentの全てのプログラムに共通する姿勢です。
